Having to wait for even a morsel of new content for Grand Theft Auto VI feels like slow torture. The last trailer we got was May 6, 2025, so it's understandable that GTA fans are crawling up the walls waiting for something new. Well, thanks to Take-two Interactive's CEO Strauss Zelnick, we know the marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI isn't kicking into first gear until the Summer. With budding chronologists marking the official beginning of summer as 21 June, it would seem new content is almost upon us. Fans of Reddit have theorized that June 23 is D-Day, and we should all mark our calendars in anticipation.
Why June 23, I hear you ask? Well, with the start of the summer (June 21st) being on a Sunday, the 23rd is officially the first Tuesday of Summer and with the previous trailer launching on a Tuesday, some fans are hopeful.
