If you're a heavy Steam user, odds are you have a ton of different genres in your backlog. On Steam, it can be easier for a developer to come up with a concept and drop it on the platform for the world to see; at least when compared to console platform holders.
Because of that freedom, there are a ton of games on Steam that you'll need to peruse through at any given time. Some offerings you can more easily locate through curated sales and lists, but others you'll need to dig for. This particular game needs no introduction.
Over on Steam now, you can pick up a hit game that's completely free. The kicker is that it's a limited time, so you'll need to act faster than usual.
Thanks to a freebie promotion from Behaivour Interactive, Dead by Daylight is now free on Steam until June 22. It's hard to believe, but this asymmetric horror romp has survived for 10 years, expanding across PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox. The latest release was PS5 in November 2020, and it's still trucking, despite the discontinuation of several platforms (including mobile and Google Stadia).
It's currently sitting at "mostly positive" reviews...
