Treyarch has officially confirmed the long-rumored PlayStation ports of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops and its critically-acclaimed sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Call of Duty: Black Ops is considered by many fans of the franchise to be one of the best Call of Duty games ever made. Its Zombies mode is still played to this day, and innovations like Wager Matches have left a lasting impact on the series. The multiplayer maps and the single-player campaign remain incredibly popular to this day as well.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is another heavy hitter when it comes to Call of Duty. Black Ops 2 tops many fans' lists of Best Call of Duty Games, and for good reason. Black Ops 2 doesn't just rest on its laurels, instead delivering one of the more innovative CoD campaigns and offering some of the most pure-fun multiplayer the series has ever seen with its fair share of iconic maps. Black Ops 1 and 2 have been playable on modern consoles through Xbox's backward compatibility for years now, but the games will finally be made playable on PlayStation soon enough.
