Halo is prepping for a big comeback this year, with Halo: Combat Evolved set to return in remade form as Halo: Campaign Evolved. That's not the only celebration of the original games on the horizon for the franchise, however, even if it's certainly the biggest one.
Halo: Campaign Evolved has unfortunately invited plenty of criticism prior to its release, with aspects like art design, level design, and the use of AI in development receiving complaints from fans and even one of the original developers. For those skeptical about the project, another release that just went up for pre-order might be more appealing
The original Halo trilogy is receiving a suite of new vinyl album releases, with a box set of the whole trilogy now available for pre-order from Laced Records. Meanwhile, alternate editions of individual soundtrack releases for Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3 can be pre-ordered from Enjoy the Ride Records.
