Participants of the ongoing Marvel Rivals closed beta have discovered an exploit involving the newly added Jeff the Land Shark hero that can essentially restrict enemy players from being able to do anything during matches. The latest playtest for Marvel Rivals, which is available on the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, ends on August 5.

Developed and published by NetEase Games, Marvel Rivals is an upcoming 6v6 shooter that will feature a variety of heroes and villains from Marvel's vast repository of comic book properties. The Unreal Engine 5-powered title now has 23 confirmed fighters in its roster of playable characters following the recent introduction of Thor and Jeff the Land Shark in the Marvel Rivals beta. Players have discovered, however, that Jeff has access to an exploit that can basically render an enemy useless.

Venom is one Marvel Rivals' playable character, and a golden tip will improve gameplay for players looking to master the Symbiote's power.
