There are few characters in video games, particularly those created after the year 2000, that can claim to be as recognizable and influential as Kratos from the God of War series. The heavily bemuscled chap has chopped and cleaved his way through quite a few games at this point, and it will be exciting to see what comes next for the character.
We do know his dearly departed ex-wife Laufey is set to star in her own spin-off, though that doesn't yet have a release date, beyond Sony promising that it's "coming soon". That said, we do know of one project that's definitely on the way, but fans are united in the fact that they don't want it to be a full change of direction.
Those of you who have been following the series for a while will know that the voice behind Kratos actually changed. Christopher Judge has become known for the role since the 2018 reboot, but the character was originally taken on by TC Carson in the original trilogy set in Ancient Greece.
