Consisting of four mainline entries, multiple spin-offs, a standalone expansion, and even a live-action movie which we pretend did not happen, the Uncharted franchise has been a constant companion for gamers since the first title, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, released back in 2007.
With the Naughty Dog franchise quickly approaching its 20th anniversary, fans are still eager to learn if the saga will ever be continued with a potential Uncharted 5. However, with the most recent entry, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, suggesting the finale of the beloved series, and with Naughty Dog focusing more on The Last of Us as well as its upcoming IP, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, it seems as though the Uncharted franchise has well and truly taken a backseat.
However, with some rumors suggesting that Uncharted 5 could be on the docket for Naughty Dog, only time will tell if we will welcome the return of Nathan Drake, or perhaps somebody else stepping into his adventuring shoes.
