LEGO is reportedly launching a Dragon Ball theme in 2027. In an unusual move, that launch could be preceded by a standalone Dragon Ball set rumored to arrive during the 2026 holiday season as part of one of LEGO's established themes.

LEGO has been producing sets based on licensed properties since the late '90s, beginning with its long-running Star Wars theme. However, lines based on popular anime franchises were nearly nonexistent for the vast majority of that period. That has started to change in recent years, with LEGO launching themes such as Pokemon, KPop Demon Hunters, and One Piece (which is technically based on Netflix's live-action adaptation).

A newly emerged leak details a sizable batch of nine LEGO sets reportedly targeting a January 2027 release, with prices ranging from $5 to $150.

The trend is now expected to continue with a dedicated Dragon Ball theme. According to a new report from the Brick Tap community, citing industry sources, a theme based on the iconic manga and anime is scheduled to launch sometime in 2027.
