Pokemon announced the Storm Emerald expansion campaign, which will mark Mega Rayquaza's debut in Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon TCG Pocket throughout the rest of 2026. However, the upcoming Pokemon campaign will be released in Japan first before making its way West later in the fall.

Fans of the legendary Rayquaza will soon have more physical and virtual cards to collect. The upcoming Pokemon TCG: Storm Emerald expansion will be titled Pokemon TCG: Delta Reign in the West. Pokemon TCG: Storm Emerald will launch on July 31 in Japan, while Pokemon TCG: Delta Reign will arrive in the West on November 6. However, Pokemon TCG Pocket players will not have to wait as long for the Ruler of the Skies expansion, which arrives globally in July. Both sets will feature Mega Rayquaza as the main draw, though The Pokemon Company did not reveal the statistics or moves of any cards from the upcoming expansions. Pokemon TCG: Delta Reign is part of the ongoing Mega Evolution series, which focuses on Mega-evolved Pokemon.
