There's absolutely no doubt that The Boys is one of the most successful programmes in Prime Video history, with the gross out superhero satire doing more than enough to earn all of the plaudits it received. That said, after five seasons, the show's good run came to an end, and with the cancellation of Gen V after two seasons, all we have to look forward to on the television front is the upcoming release of Vought Rising in 2027.
While we wait for that, those in charge of the franchise would be fools to not capitalize on the popularity of the series, before it fades rhe further away we get from the show's finale. One way they were planning to do that was with new VR game The Boys: Trigger Warning, but it hasn't gone down as well with fans and critics as the developer would have been hoping.
Over on MetaCritic, you can now find the aggregated reviews for The Boys: Trigger Warning (which just got a re-release for PSVR2), and at the time of writing, critic reviews sit at an average of 67 or "Mixed," while the user score is considerably lower and getting worse as the hours...
