There are few, if any, more iconic and beloved franchises in film history than Back to the Future, particularly in the sci-fi genre. The performances of Michael J. Fox and Christoper Lloyd are the biggest contributors to that, with both characters serving as immensely recognizable cultural touchstones at this point.
With all of that in mind, it's a little weird just how little we've seen of the franchise in other mediums. It has appeared elsewhere over the years, but not with the same frequency as other IPs with a similar scope of appeal. That's all about to change though, and the movie is about to show up in a very literal sense in a brand new video game release.
