Of all the major video game publishers and producers, Nintendo is perhaps the least well-known for giving out freebies and deals to their fan base. In fairness, they don't really need to. Their most iconic franchises will always sell millions of copies regardless, and with considerably fewer titles on the platform than elsewhere, it's imperative for the business model that they get the maximum value for everything they do release.
That said, they are still an enormous corporation, and they can occasionally pass along solid deals to fans that don't completely stop profits in their tracks for the year, shock horror. The latest of those is now live, and it's one of the more worthwhile offers that's come along for a while, if you're already fully on board the Nintendo train.
As first reported by ComicBook, Nintendo has confirmed that they are giving away a free month of Nintendo Switch Online as part of a new limited-time offer. As confirmed via a new post on the official website for the company, they will be offering an additional free month of the service to everyone who subscribes to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier for a full year....
