Though everyone is, of course, entitled to have their own favorites from the seemingly evergreen Legend of Zelda series, Twilight Princess is generally seen as one of the best offerings to date. Fans had been asking for the game's gritty realistic approach for years, and when they finally got it, it really did deliver on almost everything they wanted.

That initial success has led to a fascination with the game that fans really aren't quite willing to let go of, no matter how many years pass since its debut. The game's popularity has only been further rejuvenated by the remakes and remaster era that we seem to be firmly rooted in, and a new release updates one of the most interesting versions to date.

In case you missed it at the time, some very clever people managed to fully decompile the original code for Twilight Princess, turning it into a human-readable format, and essentially making a native PC port a reality. Since then, fan developers have been hard at work on that version of the game, improving it with each passing day.
