Activision has confirmed disappointing news about the recently announced PS4 and PS5 ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2. Despite these games being close to 15 years old, players will need to shell out a pretty penny to purchase both Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 on modern PlayStation consoles. Both of these classic Call of Duty games are slated for PS4 and PS5 release in July 2026.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 comes with campaign early access for those who just can't wait to see how the story of Captain Price continues next.

According to CharlieIntel on X, the PlayStation ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 will be priced at $40 each at launch. Additionally, each DLC pack for the games will cost $10 per pack, or $30 for the Black Ops 2 Season Pass. With Black Ops 1 containing four DLCs and Black Ops 2 containing three DLCs, fans are looking at $150 for the total package. On the bright side, all previous MTX camo packs will be offered to players who purchase the base games for free.
