Sony has followed the same general announcement pattern for years, making it relatively easy for fans to predict when the next lineup will be revealed: the last Wednesday(reveal) before the first Tuesday (release) of a month. That consistency may cause some confusion this week, as many PS Plus subscribers expecting a Wednesday announcement (June 24) could end up waiting a little longer than usual.

The PlayStation Plus Essential (or free) monthly games are almost always announced on the final Wednesday before the games become available on the following and first Tuesday of a month.
