The upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI actually seems to be going ahead for its currently scheduled date in November, after two delays left fans feeling a little anxious about the possibility of a third. As part of that approach to launch, things have started to move around actually buying the game.
In case you missed all the fun last week, Rockstar took to social media to show off the game's cover, and confirm that pre-orders will be going live on June 28. That's all very exciting, but they neglected to reveal the price they expect everyone to pay at the same time. Interestingly, prices have started to emerge online regardless, and they may well be a little higher than fans were expecting.
As first reported by GamesRadar+, French retailer fnac has listed the game for sale on their website at €89.99. If you directly convert that number, then we are looking at the first $100 standard edition game, but there are some caveats to that which should serve as a little relief to those buying in the USA.
Games are generally priced a little higher on the European continent, and it's usually closer to a 1:1 conversion...
