As much as the appetite is clearly there from the franchise's considerable fan base, we are likely looking at a long wait before we actually get to play Fallout 5. Though new Xbox head Asha Sharma wants to make it a priority moving forward, it will take some time to get all those moving parts to go in the right direction.
That means that we have to fill our spare time as fans with other games and releases related to the post-apocalyptic series. With the Prime Video adaptation now done with its second series, there is another release on the way soon that should really appeal to fans of TTRPGs, as well as the world Bethesda stewards, more generally.
Over on the official Modiphius Entertainment website, you should be able to find the official announcement for a Second Edition of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare. If you aren't familiar with the original release, it's a miniature tabletop game that brings in many of the iconic characters and factions from the original lore.
In confirming the news, the developer shared the following insight about what fans can expect:
