Halo: Campaign Evolved has annoyed some franchise fans with the way it's handling the titular Halo ring, specifically Installation 04, where the game actually takes place. A full-on remake of the classic Bungie original, Halo: Campaign Evolved represents a true reinterpretation of one of the most famous and beloved first-person shooters of all time, and its handling of the source material has been subjected to a great deal of scrutiny.

Due to launch on July 28, Halo: Campaign Evolved features three all-new missions and runs on Unreal Engine 5, making it a must-play experience for anyone even remotely interested in Halo at large. Though the Master Chief Collection games were reasonably visually compelling, as was Halo Infinite, Campaign Evolved takes things to a whole new level while at the same time running the risk of looking just uncanny enough for fans to dislike it. The talk surrounding Installation 04 proves as much, in fact.
