Halo: Campaign Evolved has annoyed some franchise fans with the way it's handling the titular Halo ring, specifically Installation 04, where the game actually takes place. A full-on remake of the classic Bungie original, Halo: Campaign Evolved represents a true reinterpretation of one of the most famous and beloved first-person shooters of all time, and its handling of the source material has been subjected to a great deal of scrutiny.
Due to launch on July 28, Halo: Campaign Evolved features three all-new missions and runs on Unreal Engine 5, making it a must-play experience for anyone even remotely interested in Halo at large. Though the Master Chief Collection games were reasonably visually compelling, as was Halo Infinite, Campaign Evolved takes things to a whole new level while at the same time running the risk of looking just uncanny enough for fans to dislike it.
