Hamaguchi's statements came days after Final Fantasy 7 Revelation was first revealed to the public at Summer Game Fest 2026.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is the third and final chapter of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series, set immediately following the consequential ending of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will see the planet on the brink of destruction as a Meteor called forth by Sephiroth looms overhead. The game will further refine the Remake series' combat style with the addition of the Job-inspired FITS system. The FITS system will grant specific abilities based on past Final Fantasy Jobs, such as Black Mage, Summoner, and Warrior.
