GTA 6 PC Release Date Officially Leaves Gamers Facing Frustrating Launch Day

November 19, 2026 will finally see the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, a day that is surely going to go down in video game history. Other publishers are so terrified of the new GTA that September 2026 is packed with games trying to stay clear of the blast zone, while other titles, like Fable, have retreated to early 2027.

While Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive promised GTA 6 marketing would finally begin properly this Summer, and pre-orders officially go live in just a few days on June 25. I'd imagine we'll get a third trailer on or before that date, too, meaning November 19 is finally properly locked in as the release date for GTA 6.

Except, of course, GTA 6 won't be available to everyone on November 19. The game will not be launching on PC alongside PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, and at the time of writing, there's zero indication of when we can expect GTA 6 to hit PC. Given a lot of PC gamers would think twice about buying an expensive console just to play one game, they're forced with the prospect of having to sit back and miss out...
