Rockstar Confirms GTA 6 Pricing, Boxed Copies Won’t Include A Disc

After months of speculation, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have finally announced the official pricing for Grand Theft Auto VI. So, yeah, we can stop with all the rumors now.

According to the companies, there will be two versions of the game at launch. The Standard Edition will be priced at $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition will cost $99.99 and include various in-game bonuses. And no, before anyone starts yelling, that does not make Grand Theft Auto VI a $100 game. The standard version is $80, while the $100 version is the premium edition.

In addition to revealing the price, it was also made known that boxed copies of Grand Theft Auto VI will not include a disc. Instead, those physical copies will include a download code. Meaning that once players get access to the game, they will be scrambling to download it, along with millions of other people trying to do the same thing. Something tells me the PlayStation and Xbox distribution servers are going to be working some serious overtime when Grand Theft Auto VI finally drops.
