My Hero Academia Officially Returns September 2026

My Hero Academia's final season felt like the ultimate send-off and a perfect tribute to the incredible work of the manga's creator, Kōhei Horikoshi. However, MHA is also one of the most popular properties right now and, as a result, it can't really be over. News of potential spin-offs, new releases, and upcoming sequels has been circulating online for quite some time, and it isn't particularly surprising to see why. There's still so much potential within its endearing universe left to be explored, and only future entries can do that.

Fortunately, My Hero Academia is returning sooner than some may have first thought. After MHA's final season won big at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, it felt somewhat like there would be a lull before the next big release. However, that doesn't seem to be the case, as after five months since the release of episode 170+1, My Hero Academia is back, and in a pretty substantial way. Suffice it to say, fans will absolutely want to pay attention to this upcoming release.
