There are few more disastrous finales in television history than Game of Thrones, with millions of fans simply calling on HBO to redo it at one point, when all else failed. The fact was that there had been five brilliant seasons of television, and two that were less good but set up the ending, all for it to be entirely blown across the course of six episodes.
There isn't a lot we can do about that now, which is why House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms have been welcome and cathartic for many. If the ending of the original show still bothers you, though, there is a way you might be able to get things to play out just as you wished, very soon.
