Since it first burst onto the scene back in 2013 with the launch of The Last of Us, the post-apocalyptic franchise has gone from strength to strength. Not only has it welcomed many remasters and an award-winning sequel, The Last of Us Part II, but it also inspired the hit live-action television show of the same name starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as the beloved father and daughter duo.
The Last of Us was certainly not the first title in the post-apocalyptic genre, but it definitely reawakened it, with multiple games since being inspired by Naughty Dog's creation, and whilst the future looks uncertain for a potential third installment, there is no denying that the love for The Last of Us is just as strong to this day.
