It really is difficult to overstate just how poorly the final season of Game of Thrones went down with everyone who had invested years of their lives into watching the show's various characters develop. Daenerys' impossibly fast turn to the dark side was probably the most jarring element of the lot, but there really was stuff to complain about from top to bottom.
That said, as difficult as it can be to let it go, we really shouldn't let it sour our opinions on the fantasy franchise as a whole, as there is still plenty to like there. With many still having an appetite for more from the same universe, as evidenced by House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, there are still plenty out there who want to bring the world to life.
