Concept art of what appears to be Bluepoint Games' next title may have leaked in a new studio tour video. The Austin-based development team last released the Demon's Souls remake in 2020, following which Bluepoint Games was acquired by Sony in 2021.
Ever since then, the studio has been working on an "original" project, which appears to be a fairly straightforward description. However, a lot of fans speculate that the deliberate phrasing might allude to Bluepoint developing a new installment or reboot of an existing PlayStation franchise, rather than a brand-new IP. The studio remains tight-lipped on the project for now, but its Head of Technology, Peter Dalton, did reaffirm a while ago that work on Bluepoint's next game is still underway. The developer issued this statement in response to some rumors that the project might have been canceled.
Bluepoint has a history of touching up classic PlayStation exclusives, and one forgotten franchise should be next on its list.
