Free Steam games are so common that one might even be sick of hearing about them. However, every once in a while, among the titles that simply don't appeal, is a genuinely enticing experience well worth the already non-existent price of admission. These completely free games do something novel or new that piques our interest and makes us grateful that such experiences exist in the first place. They're rare, but they do come about, and one such game may be the perfect addition to certain players' libraries.
What is even better is when said free games are short and sweet. In an era dominated by never-ending live service titles and hundred-hour open-world extravaganzas (not that there's anything inherently wrong with either), it can occasionally be nice to unwind with a shorter game that can be completed in a single session. This aforementioned free game very much fits within that category, and while it may not necessarily be the best free game on Steam for everyone, for those who are endeared to its novel premise, it could be a fun way to spend an evening.
