Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders are already being relisted by scalpers with modest markups. Although there is little practical reason to pay above retail for a game that remains widely available through official channels, some fans appear to be purchasing the overpriced GTA 6 listings anyway.
GTA 6 pre-orders opened on June 25. Rockstar split its pre-release offerings into two editions: Standard and Ultimate. Breaking with the company's usual approach, neither edition is available on disc. The Standard Edition can technically be pre-ordered in boxed form, but it only contains a download code. As a result, there is effectively an unlimited supply of pre-order copies on both PlayStation and Xbox.
