It was back in May that hit Prime Video show The Boys finally came to an end after five successful seasons. First airing back in 2019 and based on the comic book series of the same name, The Boys follows a team of vigilantes who must take on superheroes who are seen as the villains in the show's setting. With the 'Supes' being nothing more than arrogant, corrupt celebrities, it is up to the vigilante group known as The Boys to stop them in their tracks.
Known for a whole lot of blood and gore, satirical themes, action sequences and star-studded cast, The Boys has bagged itself four Emmy Awards over the years, as well as multiple other rewards which praise the show's unique take on the superhero genre. However, with the show coming to an end earlier this year, there is a massive gap to fill for fans.
