Pokemon Reveals Unexpected New Look at Winds and Waves Starter Pombon

A new collaboration between Pokemon and ANA Airways will see planes featuring Pombon, the Pokemon Winds and Waves Fire-type starter, along with other creatures. The Japanese airline is known for crossing over with Pokemon, and its next series of themed aircraft will commemorate the franchise's 30th anniversary as well as the release of Pokemon Winds and Waves in 2027.

Earlier in February, Pokemon revealed its three Gen 10 starters: Grass-type Browt, Water-type Gecqua, and Fire-type Pombon. More details about the Pokemon Winds and Waves starters confirmed their initial abilities as well as some of their personality traits. However, few official artworks have been shared since the trio's first reveal. Now, Pokemon has unveiled a new look at Pombon in an unexpected format.

A Target listing has some Pokemon fans theorizing that the upcoming Generation 10 games Winds and Waves will have a new Eevee evolution.
