Supergirl, unlike her cousin, hasn't had a video game. Sure, it isn't as if Superman has had a good video game, but not getting one at all is a little ridiculous. She's a phenomenal character, one who has grown far more nuanced and interesting with each adaptation, often far surpassing her more famous relative in terms of depth. So, it is only fitting that, alongside the launch of her own movie, she gets a video game of sorts.
This is fortunate as, after fans head out in droves to theaters to watch the somewhat divisive Supergirl film, they'll need something to do when they get back home. While Supergirl is yet to get her own dedicated video game, something one can only hope will happen sometime soon, she is featuring prominently in a huge open-world RPG that players from all over the world enjoy. Frankly, it's a small victory for a character who is hopefully just beginning her meteoric rise to Superman levels of popularity.
