With the long wait for the release of Marvel’s Wolverine nearly at an end, many of the biggest questions surrounding the game are what kind of gameplay content fans can expect to see when it launches. Although we've already had more than a few examples of Wolverine's abilities, the enemies, and the world you'll get to experience when Marvel's Wolverine drops this year, fans are especially stoked over one confirmed gameplay mechanic.
With the gameplay trailer at this year's PlayStation State of Play having added even more fuel to the fire of excitement over which additional characters you'll get to fight alongside in Marvel Wolverine's story, its co-op potential could be even more than we bargained for.
As noted by Longjumping_Sign2249 on Reddit, an interview between IGN and the developers of Marvel's Wolverine has confirmed that while we won't be able to play as Jean Grey, as the initial leaks for the game suggested, the full release will include several missions where you fight cooperatively with AI companions in the form of Jean, and even fighting alongside Wolverine's nemesis, Sabretooth.
