As with any role-playing game, being able to fully customize your character is a must. Not only is giving them a good hairstyle and matching outfit important, but so is deciding their personalities, and that is no different in Cyberpunk 2077.
In the 2020 RPG by CD Projekt RED, players are tasked with picking a 'life path' for their V, which gives them a background before the events of the game, as well as unlocking unique dialogue options throughout the events of Cyberpunk 2077. In the base game, there are three life paths to choose from: Nomad, Streetkid, or Corpo. The Nomad life path sees your V as part of a clan, much like the one you become involved in when you meet Panam, whilst the Streetkid has lived their entire lives in Night City. As such, they know the people, the gangs, and the slang and have good relationships with the "lower" edges of society. In comparison, the Corpo is most at home in the boardroom and steadily working up the corporate ladder.
Despite offering unique backgrounds to your character, many Cyberpunk 2077 fans have complained that CD Projekt RED did not delve into the life paths enough...
