Kingdom Hearts 4 has earned itself the rather unenviable status of being one of gaming's most anticipated titles. Sure, it is great for there to be so much hype behind a game, but Kingdom Hearts 4, a game teased years ago, remains a fairly elusive title that fans have been desperate to learn more about since it was first announced. With there being so many rumors and rampant speculation circulating on the internet, it is understandable that many would simply resign themselves to waiting for any official information.
Even now, after getting a huge Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer that gave us the best look at the game we've gotten, there are still so many mysteries surrounding the project that fans, rightfully, want answered. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Square Enix has any intention of doing that any time soon. Instead, it has an altogether different Kingdom Hearts project for fans to enjoy that's scheduled to be released in January 2027. While it isn't KH4, it may just be good enough to distract one from the interminable wait.
