BioShock fans have been waiting rather patiently for news of any upcoming sequels or even the series' spiritual successor. Sadly, their patience doesn't appear to have gotten them very far, as any BioShock-related projects have, at least until recently, been shrouded in an air of mystery. All that fans are left with is the occasional leak and assurance that something, at some point, will be done with the IP.
Fortunately, there has been a development on one such project that has fans finally uniting as one to get excited once again. While not quite as exciting as a full-blown BioShock 4 reveal, this update does give hope that something is coming in the near future. Naturally, that has fans slowly, and rather cautiously, building up hype again, especially as it could mean that a new game is coming sooner than most probably think.
