Marvel Officially Casts Our New Deadpool, And Fans Are Hyped

Deadpool is one of those Marvel characters that could easily have gone the wrong way when they decided to adapt him for his own set of movies. Fortunately, Ryan Reynolds did a pretty spectacular job, and it's now difficult to imagine the character without Reynolds' interpretation coming to the fore.

It seems as though the solo movies are done for now, though, with the silver lining being that the character is still being developed by Reynolds and Disney to appear in other Marvel projects. Until we get to see what those are, Deadpool is set to appear somewhere else, and though he will be brought to life by a different actor, fans are very happy with who has been chosen.

Over on YouTube, Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Arc System Works revealed the final team for upcoming fighting game release Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls. Joining the previously revealed Ghost Rider on the Samurai Outriders squad are Loki, Blade, and Deadpool, with the latter being voiced by Nolan North.

It's North's first turn as the character since his appearance in the official video game, and it's safe to say that fans are fairly pleased.
