GTA 6 Switch 2 Announcement Leaves Gamers Split

Right now, fans are eagerly awaiting to see if Grand Theft Auto 6 will make it to PC. There are tens of thousands of loyal fans playing GTA Online on the platform, and it's been so long since the launch of GTA 5 that its console-exclusive days are way behind it. The industry is completely different from when GTA 5 dropped in 2013, and there are a lot more platforms in play, including the Switch 2.

However, that hasn't stopped fans from talking about GTA 6 on Switch 2 on X. So far, fans are extremely split on a port for one of the biggest games of the past decade.

According to leaker Nash Weedle (which some users are taking with a grain of salt), GTA 6 is allegedly in development for Switch 2, for a release in 2027. According to them, they need to "overcome technical hurdles" to get it working, "Switch 2 port specialists" have been contracted, and "other insiders" allegedly know about the 2027-bound Switch 2 version. Naturally, fans are skeptical.
