A Destiny 2 player shares footage of the outstanding performance of a new weapon from the Monument of Triumph update, and it's destroying bosses. Destiny 2 will no longer really have an ever-changing meta, as the game is entering end-of-service and a sort of hibernation phase, where only the servers will stay up, with no content or patches. As sad as this can be, the official comms account on social media stated that next week's TWID and hotfix have been delayed, with no other date planned.
Case in point, Bungie laid off hundreds of developers and blamed Destiny 2 for it, stating that the game has been performing poorly for years despite its Platinum seller status on Steam and millions of players overall. Now, the game has no active developers working on it, and the entire QA testing team has seemingly been laid off as well, so current bugs and issues may never be fixed. The arguably sad silver lining is that players looking for meta weapons will most likely be able to use them forever once they get them.
