Ubisoft has just announced the full list of PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements coming to Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced when it launches on July 9. As a full remake of the original 2013 action-adventure game, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is obviously going to feature an onslaught of improvements for all platforms, but those playing on PS5 Pro will be able to benefit from a few additional upgrades.
In a recent PlayStation Blog post, Ubisoft Technical Director Jussi Markkanen and Technical Architect Nicolas Lopez provide a rundown of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced's PlayStation 5 Pro features. One of the core differences between the standard PS5 and PS5 Pro versions of Black Flag Resynced is that the PS5 Pro version will feature 'Extended' ray tracing on all three of the game's possible graphics modes, where the base PS5 version restricts the feature to just Fidelity and Balanced graphics modes. According to Ubisoft, Extended ray tracing refers to the full support of ray tracing throughout the game, including for reflective surfaces.
