Nintendo Switch exclusive racing game Cruis'n Blast has been removed from the eShop, and fans were given no advance warning. Nintendo Switch has played host to several exclusive games since the system's launch back in 2017. The vast majority of those games have remained available on the eShop, and have also become playable on Nintendo Switch 2. Some of those games have even received improved graphics and performance as a result.
Bethesda confirms that The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, and a release date has been revealed.
Cruis'n Blast was developed and published by Raw Thrills, acting as a sequel to a series of racing games released on N64 and Wii. Several Switch games have been delisted over the years, but typically fans are given an opportunity to make plans ahead of time. That was not the case for Cruis'n Blast, and the fact that it's a franchise owned by Nintendo makes the situation all the more unusual. It's possible the removal could have something to do with the licensed vehicles that appear in the game, but no explanation has been provided.
