Star Wars Jedi: Survivor left many fans stunned by the time it was all said and done. Even as a fan of Jedi: Fallen Order, it manages to "plus-up" the formula quite a bit, especially in terms of the freedom of movement for our hero Cal Kestis.
There's so much to explore in a third entry that fans are getting antsy over its release date. The Star Wars universe is vast, and with a time jump, Cal could interact with tons of legacy characters (much to the chagrin of some folks who enjoy seeing this mostly separated corner of the universe, with a few cameo-based exceptions).
That said, over on Reddit, those same fans are discussing a recent development in the game, as well as the perfect name for it.
According to insider Tom Henderson, Star Wars Jedi 3 will allegedly take place in a timeline featuring an older Cal Kestis. This would be a pretty big shift to be sure but an understandable one, as the first game was more about Cal as a young man, the second game is him growing into a man, and the third game could be even more mature.
