Stardew Valley and Dave the Diver are both titans of the pixelated world, so it only stands to reason that someone would mash them together eventually. Both games feature management sim elements focused on the loop of daily life, with Stardew Valley settling into daily life and Dave the Diver balancing marine exploration and restaurant operations.
An official collaboration between Stardew Valley and Dave the Diver doesn't seem entirely off the table, as both games have proven open to crossovers in the past. For now, however, the best option for fans of both might be a new game that's about to wrap up its Kickstarter campaign.
Tideborne Haven bills itself as "a cozy farming sim about saving the ocean," and the Kickstarter page highlights how dedicated it is to both sides of that equation. Like Dave the Diver, Tideborne Haven describes a game experience that plays out in two parts. On land, it boasts a full suite of life sim features (including plenty of relationships). When players dive into the water, though, they'll deal with limited oxygen and "environmental risks" as they navigate everything from coral reefs to ancient ruins.
It's easy to compare any modern farming or life sim...
