A LEGO minifigure of Pikachu has been spotted in the wild for the first time ever. The leaked character is expected to launch as one of LEGO's most expensive Pokemon sets to date later in 2026.

Officially announced in early 2025, the collaboration between LEGO and The Pokemon Company yielded exactly 15 products, excluding gift-with-purchase promotions, in the first half of 2026. The lineup was split between larger brick-built models and smaller Pokemon sets that support LEGO's new Smart Brick platform. So far, neither product group has included minifigures. However, reports of Pokemon minifigs being in development have circulated online since late winter, and multiple sets said to include them are now expected to hit store shelves in the second half of 2026.

Details on half a dozen 2027 LEGO sets leak online, describing new original models and sets based on popular IPs such as Harry Potter and Zootopia.
