The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been rumored for a return on Nintendo Switch pretty much from the day the console arrived, and those rumors have only amped up since the Switch 2 hit shelves last year. Right now, we know an Ocarina of Time remake is coming later in 2026, but Nintendo has been pretty silent on anything related to other Zelda games.
Now, though, it looks like there's some hope for all the fans out there who've been waiting on a Twilight Princess remaster or HD port. The caveat, though, is that it's not for Switch or Switch 2. In fact, it's on one of the last consoles we'd expect to see a new version of Twilight Princess appear on. The response over on Reddit has shown Zelda fans are both equally shocked and elated.
