Square Enix may be considering a new port of Final Fantasy 15 to an unexpected platform, bringing the game to Nintendo Switch 2. Final Fantasy 15 has seen multiple versions launch across different platforms, including enhanced re-releases and the mobile-optimized Pocket Edition.

Square Enix also launched Final Fantasy 15: Pocket Edition as a streamlined version of the game that removes the open-world content to make the game function on mobile devices and Nintendo Switch.
