Square Enix may be considering a new port of Final Fantasy 15 to an unexpected platform, bringing the game to Nintendo Switch 2. Final Fantasy 15 has seen multiple versions launch across different platforms, including enhanced re-releases and the mobile-optimized Pocket Edition.

Final Fantasy 15 game was a huge success for Square Enix, quickly becoming one of the biggest launches in the series. The game sold more than 5 million units worldwide within 24 hours of its launch, becoming the fastest-selling title in the franchise at the time. Final Fantasy 15's popularity welcomed a plethora of spin-offs for the game, receiving an animated film in Kingsglaive and the Brotherhood anime series. Square Enix also launched Final Fantasy 15: Pocket Edition as a streamlined version of the game that removes the open-world content to make the game function on mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. Now, the full version of Final Fantasy 15 may finally be arriving on a Nintendo platform.
