Dungeons and Dragons has dropped into eldritch horrors like those seen in Bloodborne with a new RPG release that is now available. The popular TTRPG has officially entered its Season of Horror in 2026 with the release of Ravenloft: The Horrors Within earlier this month. Wizards of the Coast has announced a surprise new release for D&D in July, which will see a vampire-based class from Vampire: The Masquerade be fully playable in Dungeons and Dragons, for example. Before that, however, a new horror-themed expansion has been dropped.
As was officially announced, the new player pack for this expansion is available in the D&D Beyond Marketplace. The player pack contains a load of information, including details about the world where players will be inserted, its factions, alternative species, and more. The product unlocks seven new subclasses for players to pick, as well as a ton of new spells to cast, weapons to wield, like trick weapons, backgrounds, feats, and renewed firearm rules.
