The PSN requirement for PC players appears to be coming back with Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, meaning 132 countries will be blocked from accessing the game entirely. Arc System Works originally revealed Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls in 2025, which adds a unique twist to the typical tag-based fighting. With a community clamoring for another Marvel tag fighter, ArcSys is hoping that its upcoming title can fill that hole.
There's been a ton of momentum and excitement building for the upcoming fighting game, especially coming off the recent reveal of Marvel Tokon's anticipated Samurai Outriders team. Debuting at EVO 2026, the last team to be playable at launch featured Ghost Rider leading a squad of Deadpool, Loki, and Blade. The game's roster has grown considerably since its reveal last year, featuring a solid mix of expected characters, fan favorites, and a few unique choices to hopefully provide something appealing for everyone. Unfortunately, with the latest discovery, it appears that not everyone on PC will be able to check out the game.
During Sony's State of Play, Arc System Works reveals the next set of playable characters for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls as the Knights of Doom.
While nothing has officially...
