Despite first being released way back in 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has stood the test of time, with many regarding it as a classic. Developed by Bethesda and known for its incredible open-world, characters, setting, and hilarious glitches and bugs as is Bethesda tradition, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim also marks the most recent The Elder Scrolls entry, much to our dismay.

Although a sequel, The Elder Scrolls VI, was first announced way back in 2018 alongside a brief teaser trailer, the project has become a sensitive subject for Bethesda and fans alike, with Todd Howard himself admitting that the game was revealed too soon.

However, it is not all doom and gloom and that comes courtesy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and its dedicated modding community, which is the sole reason why the Bethesda title has maintained its popularity well over a decade from its initial launch.

Offering thousands of ways to play the game, whether that is the addition of new maps, weapons, armor, or quests, Skyrim modders are unlike any others, and the arrival of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: New Dawn is no exception.
