Elden Ring fans interested in revisiting the Lands Between now know when they'll likely be able to do so. It's been some time since the release of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree and Elden Ring: Nightreign, so fans are keen to know what's next for the world and developer FromSoftware. FromSoft has confirmed it is working on a handful of new games beyond the Nintendo Switch 2 release of The Duskbloods, and one of them is rumored to be a brand-new soulslike game set in a pirate world. How The Duskbloods and this rumor pan out remains to be seen, but Elden Ring fans are still eating good at least.
Elden Ring's Tarnished Edition is bringing new content like starting classes, armor sets, weapons, Ashes of War, and so forth when it releases in August 2026, but after that, fans can already await Elden Ring: Rot and Sorcery, which is set to release in July 2027. In other words, fans have about a year to wait for this successful, crowd-funded project.
An Elden Ring fan shares a leaked image with the soulslike community showing what the Lands Between looked like one year before the game released.
