If anything's certain in this world, it's that there's always a Resident Evil remake in production, and the upcoming slate has apparently gained another massive remake. According to Resident Evil leaker Dusk Golem on X, a new remake of the original Resident Evil started pre-production in late summer or early fall last year. Dusk Golem suggests that the game will "probably enter full production after Resident Evil Veronica is finished with its crunch period."
